homework program
It’s time to register your child for our FREE After-School Homework Assistance Program. It operates Monday thru Thursday from 4:30-5:45. You can stop by the library and ask for an enrollment form at the front desk.
Our Program offers help to children in grades 1st-5th. Each grade has its own table and homework helper. Occasional help is available to Jr. High and High School students if needed and they are grouped together in the same table. We also have Spanish-speaking homework helpers available.
story time
Spark a lifelong love of reading in your child by bringing them to the Palacios Library on Thursdays at 2:00 PM for story time and crafts. After your child finishes the craft they get to choose and take home a 1st Book to keep. Babies, toddlers, and homeschooled children are welcome.
science rocks!/art
Join us every Thursday at 5:00 pm for Science Rocks. For the program we will either do a fun science experiment or an art project. At the end of the project children will get to take home and keep a First Book. Pre-K and up are welcome to come.

All participants will receive a free t-shirt at the July class to be worn for the Art Gallery.
Please stop by the library to sign up. Classes are limited to 20 participants in each group. First come, first serve!
